Gary Career

• In 1993, won election for Director of San Antonio River Authority and served two terms.

• In 2010, Roger Gary gained more votes than the Libertarian running for governor. However, Gary was running for Texas Railroad Commission and finished 3rd.

• May 16, 2011 – Gary officially files with the FEC to run for President of the United States in the 2012 election as a candidate for the Libertarian Party.

• Appointed to local board of the Selective Service System by then- President Reagan and served for 15 years as Vice-Chairman.
