• Carl E. Person dropped out of Northport High School at the age of 16. “High school did not stimulate me, and I found ways to avoid going to class,” says Person on his campaign website.
• After serving in the U.S. Army and having no G.E.D., Person’s family was able to get him into Long Island University’s Brooklyn campus.
• After graduation at LIU (Brooklyn), Person attended his father’s alma mater, Harvard Law School, where he graduated in 1962 with an AB degree in Political Science and an LLb in Law.
